Her journey began at the prestigious Kerala Kalamandalam, where she trained intensively in Mohiniyattam and Kuchipudi from her school years, building a strong foundation in tradition, technique, and abhinaya. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Bharatanatyam from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit and completed her Master of Performing Arts in Kuchipudi from the Central University of Hyderabad, deepening both her performance practice and academic understanding of dance.
As a teacher, she is committed to sharing the beauty, discipline, and storytelling power of classical and semi-classical dance with students of all ages. Her teaching experience allowed her to mentor young dancers in Kuchipudi and semi-classical forms, guiding them through structured lessons, choreography, and stage performances. She believes in nurturing each student’s individual expression while instilling respect for the rich heritage of these art forms.
Beyond the classroom, she specializes in choreography for stage performances, competitions, and cultural events, blending technical precision with creative expression. Alongside practical training, she also focuses on dance theory and performance coaching, helping students grow into confident, expressive artists. For her, dance is not just movement — it is a lifelong dialogue between tradition and personal voice, and she strives to keep that dialogue alive in every class she teaches and every piece she creates.
